The More I learn, The Less I Know

I learnt a lot this weekend. From so many different people. In so many different areas and spaces. It was concentrated, mind-bending, spirit altering, moments of impact.

I learnt more about life, about people, about mothers and women, about grace, about love, about rain, about privilege, about the One that matters most, about purpose and posture, about calling, about mountains and surrender, about judgement, about constructs and comparison.

I learnt the importance of having an open and teachable heart. I learnt the value of stillness and not speaking. I was reminded that asking good questions is far wiser than providing intelligent answers.

And above all, the familiar saying I once thought I understood, made itself truly at home in my heart;

“The more I learn, The less I know.”
